Join us for the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course, a hands-on, in-person training designed for new and developing shooters who want a strong foundation in handgun safety, operation, and marksmanship. This nationally recognized course is led by a certified NRA pistol instructor and includes interactive simulator training to build confidence and skills before stepping onto a live range.
What’s Included
- Comprehensive firearm safety instruction
- Parts, operation, and maintenance of pistols
- Fundamentals of accurate shooting: grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and follow-through
- Dry-fire and live-fire practice
- Simulator training with Glock 19 trainers — Students use Glock 19 training pistols equipped with recoil action on the Laser Ammo Smokeless Range and M-Range systems for lifelike training and real-time feedback in a controlled environment.
